Sacred Pages: A Seasonal Series of Powerful Journaling

Acknowledging how the seasons can influence our mood, energy and creativity, Sacred Pages is your opportunity to support your emotional and mental well-being through personal writing – Reflecting, releasing and realigning at key points in the year.

Join us for our next series, Fall: Into Darkness.

This is for women who crave depth, knowing and connection.

This fall, honour the natural descent into darkness and welcome the opportunity it brings for self-nourishment and inner exploration. Rather than dreading the increasing night, we will open our hearts with wonder to what we may find there, to the gifts it may offer.

May there be rest? May there be magic? May there be ache?

Through prompted reflective writing, you’ll learn what this darker time desires of you, and what you desire of it.

And so, with a little more faith in the journey,
and some sweet folks by your side,
you can allow yourself to Fall: Into Darkness.

This fall, I invite you to write into the darkness
To find meaning
To find healing
To find yourself

Although, this is not “group therapy”, Sacred Pages is a therapeutic container designed with the intention of creating emotional release and transformation. We touch on tender topics so it is important each participant has the resources to show up and take care of themselves, as well as be thoughtful to all others in the room. I aspire to make the workshops safe for all women from a feminist, anti-racist, anti-oppression, and gender-affirming perspective.

Sacred Pages Founder + Facilitator:
Parrish Wilson MA

Hey there, I’m Parrish! I’m a memoirist and Writing Therapist, and have been running therapeutic writing workshops since 2013. I hold a Masters in Counselling & Spirituality, and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing, weaving these worlds together to create powerful, transformative, guided writing workshops.

Personally, I write about all the juicy (and sometimes mundane) parts of my life – mental health/neurodivergence, parenting, (real) self-love and self-compassion, feminism, datingwriting, adventuresfriendship and the Sacred. I would love to support your emotional, spiritual and creative well-being through the magic of Sacred Pages.

Sacred Pages, guided by the incredible Parrish Wilson, has been a transformative experience for me. In the midst of life’s hustle and bustle, she creates a space to simply be—to step away from rigidity and embrace creative flow. Her warmth and encouragement have reignited my passion for writing, reminding me of the joy in expressing my thoughts freely. It’s a safe, cozy, and welcoming environment where all ideas are honored. Beyond that, it opens the door to thinking outside the box, hearing diverse perspectives, and finding both relatability and validation in shared experiences. Every session is something I deeply look forward to, and I’m so grateful for this beautiful space!

Hope L.

Experiencing Sacred Pages with Parrish was a real act of self-care. I am not a “writer”, and that didn’t matter. What I was able to access through her sessions was; peace, reflection, clarity, and an understanding of myself. It felt very good to commit to showing up to the writing sessions, and I would leave feeling a sense of lightness.

These workshops aren’t fluff
This writing is POWERFUL

Strengthen Your Sense of Self:

The type of personal writing we do in these workshops gives you great insight into yourself – what really matters when you get to the heart of things. By highlighting your values and purpose, the prompts support you to make choices in the day to day that keep you aligned to this inner wisdom. Taking the time on a regular basis to check in this way weaves more meaning and heart into your life.

Relieve Physical & Emotional Stress:

There are decades of research showing this type of writing decreases stress! Taking the time to express yourself on the page brings measurable tension relief both physically and emotionally. After each workshop, you’ll notice the difference, with an improved sense of well-being following you into your evening and the rest of your week.

Nurture Your Creative Spirit:

A little bit of writing time is a soothing balm for the soul. Too often all of our output is in service of our work or others. These workshops are an opportunity to indulge yourself and give that creative spirit a little nudge. No need to be an artist to benefit – the creative spirit feeds your business, your family, your home, your heart, everything!

Sacred Pages is an introspective writing experience that will align you with your inner wisdom. It’s time to know that you, and your words, are sacred.

The writing equivalent of a drink of cold water on a hot day! Parrish guides us intuitively with prompts that offer space to feel, process, and synthesize what matters most in the moment. I highly recommend her workshops!

Sandra S.

With deceptively simple prompts, Parrish led me to a place inside me that I really needed to connect with in order to move forward with my mental health journey in a way that feels safer and more expansive. The way she brought together mental wellness, spirituality, and creativity opened doors in my mind and I am surprisingly excited to explore what’s beyond them!
